The location was perfect! It was so good being able to use the “private” beach and facilities of the sister hotel a few minutes walk down the road! Having a taxi rank outside the hotel makes it so easy to be able to get a taxi and explore the area! All the staff are lovely and give you great recommendations for places to eat and drink at! The rooms and bathrooms are a little small but that didn’t bother us too much as we really were only in the room to shower and sleep and weren’t spending our days in there! Breakfast was great, large variety of options! All in all we loved our stay and had a great time :)

Location excellent. Staff managed to compensate for a lot of flaws in the hotel fabric (eg supplied extra cover sheet for bed). Beach / pool towels provided for free on request. Able to use sister hotel's pool and beach area for free. Room had great view of the sea (but noise from kids' playground 1 night, tourists another night and call to prayers every night!) Aircon worked well and quietly.

Everything about the hotel meets a holiday-maker’s expectations. It’s immaculately clean, organised and at the centre of any place you would like to visit. In fact, it’s next to the beach where you have amazing views of the castle and surrounding areas from your room windows. I like how the pillows are made, it’s just the right size and texture. And the hotel team, this is something I would like to emphasise, they are lovely wonderful people! They are extra responsive to your needs! A special mention to Gokan who assisted me in every way, he acts very decent, polite and professional, he knows his job very well I can’t think of a better hotel staff you can ever be supported with. Talking about Can, the hotel manager, he is fantastic! First time I met an hotel manager with his high level of professionalism.He acts on your concerns as fast as 2 minutes. I really think he has a 2-minute policy when he resolves his guest’s queries and concerns within 2 minute period. He is extremely responsive trust me he is such a lovely person to deal with. Days before my actual arrival, he even contacted me to reassure me everything is perfectly in place. I really wish all hotel managers are of same caliber as Can to enhance our overall holiday experience. In fact, he offered me a room upgrade on y last day, what a generous gesture from an hotel manager! About the breakfast, it’s a typical Turkish buffet that I always love, it has everything you need to start your day, I’m crazy about the Turkish peyniri that I dip in honey Lol. Overall, Akkan hotel is the place you want to book if you don’t want to go wrong !

Nice, clean and spacious room with good A/C for the price. The hotel is in the perfect place: the beaches, the restaurants and the shopping street are all just a few steps away. Breakfast with options everyday. Underrated fact that you can use the pool and the beach of Akkan Beach Hotel, their sister-hotel for free and it's just a few minutes walk away.

The hotel is centrally located in Bodrum, it is a 10 minute walk to the likes of Bodrum Castle and the Old Bus Station. It is located right across from the beach and in a quiet area of town. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the rooms were quite big for Turkish standards. The bed was very comfortable also. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options to chose from. The local restaurants serve great food and hospitality also. But for me what made the experience 10/10 was the staff. Can the manager was fantastic throughout my stay. He was very pleasant and helpful, and spoke fluent English !! He was very knowledgeable about things to do locally and even dropped me off on his scooter to the bus station for my bus to the airport ! Overall I would definitely stay in the Akkan Hotel again, and look forward to returning again soon.

The Akkan hotel was absolutely superb. The communication prior to our visit by Can was impeccable and he even phoned to check we were okay when our flight was delayed. The accommodation was first class, we had a huge bedroom, bathroom and terrace with a great view to the sea. The breakfast was plentiful and healthy and they very kindly provided us with an early one prior to a ferry deadline. Can and his brother were fantastic hosts with nothing too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stay in Bodrum.

The hotel was right in front of the beach (50 meters). We booked the suite room, which had a lovely balcony with views of the sea and Bodrum castle. The host was kind, welcomimg and exceptionally helpful in answering all of our questions , giving us great advice of things to do in Bodrum, recommendations for restaurants. We needed to leave early each morning (before breakfast time) but the host was very generous to make arrangements for us. The price was right for us and met all our expectations. Highly recommend this stay mainly for the lovely warm vibes of the host.

A lovely small hotel near the beach. A spacious and comfortable room but it was a little noisy at times because it was located at the front of the hotel and people need to walk past your room to get to theirs. Sometimes people would wait around this area talking. The breakfast is excellent and of a high standard. The staff are lovely and helpful. You can access the beach with umbrellas and sun lounges for no charge a bit further down near Akkan sister hotel Akkan Beach Hotel. There are some great mezze restaurants about 170 metres away down picturesque alleys if you tire of kebabs, hamburgers, pasta etc, that are excellent with great vegetarian options.

- Very good location - Very good Turkish breakfast - Staff is beyond helpful, friendly and most of them speak good English - Unlimited bottled water provided to us - If you're spending most of your day outside, then this hotel is top value - Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and belongings are tidied up (a nice bonus since my friends are messy) everyday
